Joy Tenga
School Counselor
Short Bio: Mrs. Tenga began her teaching career here in Kinnelon at Pearl R. Miller where she taught 6th and 7th grade mathematics. She graduated from Muhlenberg College with a B.A. in Communication and Spanish and before teaching, she worked in Public Relations in New York City. She then began her road to teaching and received her master's degree in teaching from Fairleigh Dickinson University. After teaching for a few years, she began to pursue another master's degree in Counseling from William Paterson University. She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor. She went from working at Pearl R. Miller to working as a 5th grade teacher at Stonybrook School and also as a school counselor at Stonybrook. Mrs. Tenga has been teaching in the Kinnelon school district since 2000 and enjoys counseling at Stonybrook School.
